Take a walk in the street of broken sights,
A pile of crayons lies forgotten beneath my feet,
I pick it up and paint a picture of those eyes,
A glance that will never leave the street.
By chance this meeting happens as a part of everyday,
By chance we look the same under pale blue sky,
By chance I could see beyond the smoke of my cigarette,
By chance I've seen what I'll never forget.
Hundreds in rush to live one more average day
Hundreds in urge to speak their bluff they have to say,
Only one to catch my glance in this twisted boring dance,
Just one look to forever lead my way.
Tired of walking forward, forgetting where I go,
Lost in mass of people that I never want to know,
Seems like every day, but we know it’s not the same,
It will never be, as your image stays inside of me.
A warming shade of green amidst the grey rushing nothing,
I may never see it again but the memories will remain.
Under the gloomy shade of pendulum, ticking our time away,
At least one heartbeat seemed worthy of its cause.
Before I lay my head to sleep forevermore,
I think of a picture I have drawn that day,
A picture I remembered for all those years to come,
The one that moved my step in the endless grey.
Long live the green, said the man before he closed his eyes,
I've seen nothing but this one moment of bliss
And under shadows of the pale blue skies
Tired and weary the old man died in peace.
